Useful Firefox-Add-Ons

Ive found out what’s been causing my Firefox 2.0 crashes. It was the really helpful “Session Manager” Add-On, which hasnt been converted to Firefox 2.0 yet. I hope it will be soon.

Anyway, ive a handful of different add-ons which id like to share with y’all:

  • Hit-A-Hint which enables you to browse pages and links only using your keyboard
  • del.icio.us plugin for bookmarking, not much to say here ;)
  • Fission which is a status-bar in your address-bar. This way you can switch of your statusbar at the bottom and save some precious pixels.

Also AdBlock Plus and DownloadThemAll are cool, but i dont really use them anymore. Well, go try yourself ;)

Much better now, thanks

So, i think i found a theme which really fits my current taste. Its nice and dark, not cluttered, has a lot of space for the weblog’s content (instead of just one thin column) and of course it looks very web-2.0-ish. Anyway, i dont think many people visit my site anymore, too bad, but oh well, i guess its my own fault. Those of you only using your rss reader should browse over to have a look at the theme.

Btw, the theme is called “gunmetal” and i modified it somewhat

Things that piss me off

Right now those would be:

  • This weblog’s theme
  • Firefox 2 crashing every 10 minutes (like in the middle of this very sentence, i suspect the flash player plugin)
  • People trying to convince other people that Macs are great (im through with that, at least from the software point of view)
  • The weather being freezing cold

Informatik anschaulich machen
